She also said " there's no need to have you walk or dive around looking for somewhere to drop it off".
I have been at this hospital multiple times and the staff is so professional and courteous. Dr. Hal and nurse Marcos are both very caring and makes the effort to get you lined up with great primary care physicians.
I am not responsible for another entity's inability to properly perform their recording and billing tasks.
Great place. RN Hope in the Surgery department is amazing. She really went out of her way to make me comfortable and explain things. Thank you and if ever needed medical help I will come here first.
I had to go last night and I was amazed by the organization, cleanliness, speed, bedside manner, you name it. I have been in and out of ERs my whole life (don't ask), from Cincinnati to Winter Park. I don't really enjoy going to them (I mean really, who does. I'm sure there's one person out there, though) but I have NEVER left smiling and actually feeling like I had a great time. Let alone after having broken two toes and requiring multiple stitches. I did at 4am this morning. Kudos to Dr. Alexander and the team working last night. Job well done!
To be seen by a doctor took the better part of three hours.
I have to change my review on this hospital, brought my son because he fell off his bunk bed, 1 1/2 hours wait, including x-rays. The nurse and PA are great and the x-Ray tech was amazing!
I have also been repeatedly billed for payment that I had rendered at time of service. I keep receiving the same bill. I was not provided with a receipt due to payment in cash.
Very rude nurse by the name of Heather, I went in to drop off my sharps containers. As I was told to do so by not only my doctor that works at the Orlando hospital but also my pharmacy!
I have been to this hospital about 3 times for myself and my son, but because of the rude head nurse as she called herself ' Heather', we will not be back. We will drive the extra 15minutes to winter park!
Update:
She said she will not take it and that she was not allowed. Funny because I called the Orlando hospital and spoke to someone in their main office, and the lady was super nice and said " yes we prefer you take it to the fire station, but if you're already at the hospital we can go ahead and take them from you".
There is no wait and the nurses at the front desk always smile and nurse Leticia and head nurse Alex treat your children like their own. I'm so pleased with this center, I wouldn't go anywhere else in the event of an emergency. God bless the doctors, nurses and staff.
