Its a great place to shop if only for some of the 2 for 1 deals and prepared meals. Im a tea drinker. They have a mid sized- large tea selection, but not a decent tea selection. They only have a handful of loose leaf tea (no tea bags). At least they carry lattee grade matcha, but i would like to see more loose leaf tea (not blends). They only sell 2 unblended loose leaf teas atm: gunpowder green tea and english breakfast black tea both of the Pure Leaf brand.
Publix deli food quality never disappoints, even right before closing. Closing time might have been getting to some of the employees.
Minor in retrospect but this Publix really ticked me off today around 4:30 pm. Picked up some Thomas Bagel Thins directly under BOGO sign for Thomas Bagels. BOGO didn't ring up. Cashier and manager said "variety" means flavors. I asked why Thins were under BIGO sign - she indicated that was where they stock them. Due to their attitude, wife and I advised them to keep other groceries as we preferred to not spend any money there. It just seemed they were guessing and making the policy on the spot when in fact they should have looked at how it was being advertised and how a customer would interpret.
All Publix stores are great.
I can find just about everything I need. Team members are gracious and very helpful. I wish they would order more Entenmann's crumb cakes, (not the individual serving). No matter what time of day I shop, there gone. I love the crumb cake. I'm going to start shopping at the Alafaya Woods Publix. A little further away but I know they always have the crumb cake. No offense to University Commons.
